In 1962, Fox Packaging got its humble start with used equipment and borrowed space in the back of a South Texas carrot shed providing Leno bags for bulk packing to local farmers. Now, 60 years later, things look a little different for us.
Fox Packaging is proud to be a pioneer in flexible packaging solutions for fresh produce growers and packers across the country. Today, we serve customers throughout North and South America and have expanded our offerings to include the bakery, firewood, and seafood industries.
While our customer base and product lines have evolved over the years, our family values remain at the heart of our business. Three generations of the Fox family are actively involved in daily operations, ensuring that we continue to deliver the exceptional customer service and product quality that defined us in the beginning.

Our History
1962
Kenneth Fox Supply Co. is established in borrowed space at the back of a South Texas carrot packing shed, providing twisted-paper packing supplies.
1969
The first installation for the manufacturing of Leno bags is completed.
1994
The introduction of the Fresh Mesh bag marks a significant milestone. This is one of the first mesh bags in the world designed for manual or semi-automatic filling, launching the start of our retail packaging programs.
1995
The first flexographic printing press was purchased, advancing our printing technology capabilities.
1998
We revolutionize the industry with the introduction of the Fresh Mesh Combo bag, which combines the best features of the Fox Fresh Mesh bag and the traditional poly bag.
2005
Acquisition of Leno equipment transitions our operations from hand-sewn to automatic Leno bag production.
2009
We introduce the state-of-the-art Fox Combo Ultra-Shield bag, designed to protect potatoes against light damage.
2010
Fox Solutions is launched, introducing international partnerships and producing high-precision bagging and weighing equipment.
2017
The Stand-Up Combo bag is introduced to the market, becoming one of the first flat-bottom bags in the world made using film and mesh.
2018
Fox Packaging expands its facilities by adding a state-of-the-art printing facility.
2020
Fox Packaging joins the Sustainable Packaging Coalition to showcase the How2Recycle label, supporting a universal recycling language.
2022
We add the newest Wicketed Leno bag manufacturing equipment, reinforcing our position as one of the primary U.S. suppliers of the Leno bag.
